I’m so glad I use Ubuntu and Open Office I get them. I don’t get Microsoft at all. Microsoft to support ODF.

Most business and government people that see the news won’t realize how important it is to them. They don’t understand the problems that proprietary formats bring. That’s because these movers and shakers keep on moving and shaking — they don’t deal with the problems of document conversion and retaining 15 year old files.
I remember when Microsoft programs used to try to read any format that was in use at the time (that didn’t cost them too much $$$ to implement). Their products are on their way to obsolescence unless they turn around and start supporting open formats.
